This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and enhance supplier performance through lean methodologies and strategic roadmaps to optimize GE Vernova’s supply chain.

• Facilitate transformation across the entire supply base to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.

• Propel supplier process and systemic quality enhancements utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Collaborate with Suppliers, Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations to establish strategic objectives for On-Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, and sourcing initiatives.

• Oversee supplier development and guide key suppliers in achieving quality assurance.

• Assist suppliers in attaining optimal quality and adherence to industrial standards of excellence.

• Offer technical expertise to suppliers in areas such as Process Development, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Requirements and Management.

• Conduct Value Stream Analysis and Kaizen events with key suppliers.

• Validate enhancements using defined metrics to minimize defects and boost OTD performance.

• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution and significant issue management at supplier sites.

• Execute analysis on Commodity, Quality Systems, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM), and Defective Material Reports (DMR) to identify trends and recommend actions.

• Facilitate training for internal personnel and other departments on Supplier Lean Improvements and Standard Work practices.

• Implement GE Vernova’s Supplier Development Procedures, Processes, and work instructions within the designated region.

• Assist in reviewing processes and procedures while driving continuous improvement initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or a comparable discipline from an accredited institution.

• 3–5 years of applicable experience in related fields such as Quality Management and Manufacturing Operations.

• Familiarity with Quality Sciences, including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), problem-solving techniques, sampling methods, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.

• Demonstrated experience in lean practices, including leading Kaizen events.

• Proficient in Value Stream Mapping (VSM), problem-solving, A3 Thinking, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge R&R), Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), 5S methodologies, Daily Management Systems, Visual Management, Standard Work, Leader Standard Work, and Pull Systems.

• Knowledge of industry-specific quality certifications, particularly ISO 9001:2015.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.

• Proficiency in English as a primary or secondary language.

• Developing expertise in quality and processes within a specific commodity.

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

• US-based candidates only for the specified degree requirement.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
