Supplemental Security Income Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Support individuals in navigating the SSI application process to secure their entitled benefits.

• Offer guidance on SSI benefits, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and necessary documentation.

• Review and verify application documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Conduct personalized consultations with applicants.

• Prepare SSI applications for caregiver assessment.

• Ensure compliance with deadlines and relevant regulations.

• Track application progress and follow up with appropriate agencies.

• Communicate with families throughout the approval process.

• Maintain precise records of client interactions, applications, and outcomes.

• Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality standards.

• Stay informed about SSI regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Notify clients about pertinent updates.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in assisting with SSI applications or in a related field.

• Strong understanding of SSI eligibility criteria and application procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Compassionate and patient approach when working with individuals in need.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to maintain strict confidentiality.

• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

• High School Diploma is required.
