This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Offers daily leadership and oversight to the Trust Accounting team.
• Assigns, distributes, and monitors the quality and volume of work produced.
• Fosters staff development through performance management, goal setting, training, and effective employee relations.
• Streamlines workflows, processes, tools, and staff allocation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Guarantees adherence to regulatory and legal standards.
• Reviews and approves timecards, time off requests, and verifies payroll processing information.
• Prepares and reviews account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Oversees cash management and authorizes bank transactions.
• Conducts training for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• May engage in the year-end audit process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Four years of accounting experience, including at least one year in a supervisory or mentoring capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of standard accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of communicating clearly and professionally.
• Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office tools.
