This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assess, code, and process vendor invoices.
• Generate sponsorship invoices and manage incoming funds.
• Evaluate employee expense claims for accuracy and adherence to policy.
• Prepare accounts payable batches for approval and release.
• Track payment statuses and provide assistance with issue resolution when necessary.
• Reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements.
• Create invoices for grants, sponsorships, and partnerships, and manage receipts.
• Identify inconsistencies or missing documentation and inform other finance team members.
• Monitor incoming Finance emails and Slack communications, responding to or escalating inquiries as appropriate.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or related fields.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Float Financial and/or Plooto is a plus.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and currently reside in Canada. This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
