• Oversee a team of 10-25 members, each responsible for managing a designated portfolio of patient accounts or Medical Insurance triggers.
• Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to support the team in addressing issues within the portfolio, while also identifying and resolving opportunities for improvement in collaboration with other departments as necessary.
• Analyze and make decisions about payment trends and/or issues related to the assigned portfolio.
• Maintain essential performance metrics, manage results accordingly, and conduct regular reviews for senior leadership.
• Effectively communicate team goals, objectives, and progress towards those goals to both the team and direct leadership consistently.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for all assigned team members, identifying growth opportunities and providing timely coaching and development.
• Determine staffing needs for the assigned team, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, and communicate recruiting requirements to leadership.
• Achieve high engagement scores for the assigned team (greater than 80%).
• Provide recommendations for team member promotions and mobility to senior leaders.
• Proven ability to think critically and independently, identifying root causes and resolving them effectively.
• Established history of leading change or operations through influence.
• Excellent presentation skills and executive-level communication capabilities.
• Capability to manage performance while simultaneously motivating team members.
• Experience in coaching and developing team members.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant supervisory experience is required.
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Relevant experience in the healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
