Supervisor, PIP Coverage and Qualification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Organize, develop, and mentor a team of PIP claims adjusters.

• Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Hold regular team meetings to provide updates, address issues, and foster a collaborative work atmosphere.

• Review complex or high-value PIP claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and state regulations.

• Offer guidance and expertise to claims adjusters on difficult cases.

• Monitor the progress of claims to guarantee timely resolution and compliance with service level agreements.

• Implement and uphold quality assurance processes to ensure claims accuracy and adherence to regulations.

• Conduct audits and deliver constructive feedback to claims adjusters to facilitate continuous improvement.

• Develop and present training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of claims adjusters.

• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve customer inquiries and concerns regarding PIP claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

• An adjuster's license is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, claims processing, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of documented experience in supervising claims staff, including conducting performance discussions, monitoring productivity, managing workloads, and fostering employee development.

• Proficient understanding of property and casualty insurance policies and coverages.

• Strong grasp of claims processing procedures, including investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of settlements.

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
