Supervisor, PIP Coverage and Qualification

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Organize, develop, and mentor a team of PIP claims adjusters.

β€’ Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

β€’ Hold regular team meetings to provide updates, address issues, and foster a collaborative work atmosphere.

β€’ Review complex or high-value PIP claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and state regulations.

β€’ Offer guidance and expertise to claims adjusters on difficult cases.

β€’ Monitor the progress of claims to guarantee timely resolution and compliance with service level agreements.

β€’ Implement and uphold quality assurance processes to ensure claims accuracy and adherence to regulations.

β€’ Conduct audits and deliver constructive feedback to claims adjusters to facilitate continuous improvement.

β€’ Develop and present training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of claims adjusters.

β€’ Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve customer inquiries and concerns regarding PIP claims.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.

β€’ An adjuster's license is required.

β€’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, claims processing, or a related field.

β€’ At least 1 year of documented experience in supervising claims staff, including conducting performance discussions, monitoring productivity, managing workloads, and fostering employee development.

β€’ Proficient understanding of property and casualty insurance policies and coverages.

β€’ Strong grasp of claims processing procedures, including investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of settlements.

β€’ Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
