This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee revenue integrity operations for designated ministries within a specific region.
• Provide guidance and leadership for a team tasked with CDM maintenance, centralized charge control, pre-bill edits, accurate revenue and reimbursement, intricate claim denial coordination, payer audits, and prevention of denial/operational write-offs.
• Monitor work queues and execute or supervise data analysis and root-cause identification.
• Assist ministry stakeholders in developing corrective action plans.
• Foster collaborative relationships with RHM leadership, Enterprise Patient Financial Services, and other operational and revenue stakeholders.
• Ensure that charge revenue is accurately identified in payer contracts, implemented at the billing stage, submitted promptly, and reimbursed as anticipated.
• Supervise the coordination of complex case denials in collaboration with Enterprise Patient Financial Services.
• Ensure timely completion of denial prevention and resolution actions.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on denials.
• Prepare and deliver education and training for departments and staff based on denial analysis, root-cause findings, regulatory updates, coding changes, and adjustments in managed-care billing requirements.
• Manage daily functions of assigned areas and enhance people, processes, structures, and programs that support care.

• An associate’s degree or a related field along with progressively responsible experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, including revenue integrity and charge control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience in a multi-facility integrated healthcare delivery system or experience in revenue cycle/revenue integrity consulting.
• Extensive knowledge of medical group operations.
• Preference for knowledge and experience within an acute care and/or physician practice setting.
• Preferred experience as a supervisor or team leader.
• Preference for RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, or other coding credentials.
• Preferred experience in Charge Description Master (CDM) maintenance.
