This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +21 more states.
• Collaborate with both clinical and administrative teams to foster a professional partnership on behalf of Lumicera Health Services with IDN partners and their respective team members and stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture a proactive team of Clinical Liaisons to effectively bridge interactions between administrative personnel, clinical staff, specialty pharmacies, insurance providers, financial assistance organizations, and patients.
• Communicate efficiently with both internal Lumicera team members and external clinic stakeholders to streamline workflows, processes, and procedures, delivering collaborative solutions that benefit all parties involved.
• Design and present educational materials, resources, and references to improve understanding and engagement in workflow processes and procedures that enhance the IDN Shared Services Model.
• Regularly assess workflow and task assignments specific to the Clinical Liaison team, while maintaining full ownership and accountability for responsibilities, including but not limited to: IDN benefits determinations, IDN prior authorization requests, IDN billing resolution requests, IDN financial assistance requests, and IDN patient onboarding requests.
• Leverage existing analytical tools at Lumicera and externally with IDN partners, including but not limited to electronic health records, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Compass.
• Engage with clinic personnel, including but not limited to pharmacists, clinical staff, financial personnel, department managers, access services staff, coding staff, and billing assistants.
• External interactions include but are not limited to third-party payers, manufacturers, prescription benefit management companies, external pharmacy personnel, and referring providers along with their support staff.
• Represent Lumicera and associated IDN organizations with a high level of professionalism in all interactions, both within and outside the workplace.
• Comply with all relevant federal and state laws while adhering to the highest ethical standards that we are committed to upholding. Therefore, legal and ethical compliance is a crucial responsibility of every employee.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Certification as CPhT or ExCPT is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy support experience or experience in a healthcare environment is required.
• Previous management and/or leadership experience is preferred.
