Supervisor de Transporte

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Execute operational logistics activities with transportation providers to ensure efficient deliveries.

• Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Ensure adherence to legal requirements, technical standards, and operational regulations.

• Coordinate, assign, and schedule the daily units required.

• Review, update, and manage fleet availability for land transfers, industries, service stations, and other operations.

• Implement and generate monthly indicators for fieldwork, including OPTs, FTO, pre-trips, and emergency response drills.

• Demonstrate visible leadership in penetration routes and towards land terminals in Cuzco, Ilo, Juliaca, and Mollendo.

• Lead investigations of incidents and accidents using the ICAM methodology.

• Monitor transportation units alongside strategic partners to ensure safety, product quality, smooth operations, and punctuality.

• Follow up on maintenance programs and committees for the assigned fleet.

• Collaborate with Purchasing and Contracting for freight requests required by Mobility.

• Conduct management audits of all transporters.

• Direct the implementation of projects focused on operational needs in the area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation administration or similar roles in oil & gas companies and/or similar positions in the industrial sector, logistics operators.

• Preferred knowledge of MATPEL I and II - Fuel.

• AIIB Driver's License with at least 2 years of seniority (preferred).

• Experience in industry-related companies (port terminals, storage companies, etc.).

• Intermediate level in Office Suite.

• Willingness to reside in Arequipa.

• Availability to travel frequently to various operational locations (essential).

• Knowledge in planning, scheduling, and optimizing transportation.

• Maintenance of databases in SAP.

• Integrated logistics chain.
