This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily functions of the Contact Center Department.
• Manage staff, carry out performance evaluations, provide recommendations for hiring and disciplinary actions, and organize work assignments.
• Monitor, maintain, and track employee performance metrics.
• Address escalated issues within the customer service and contact divisions.
• Analyze trends to pinpoint areas for enhancement, innovative solutions, and ongoing process improvements.
• Undertake special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
• Deliver outstanding experiences for patients and providers while guiding a high-performing team.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Benefits, or a related area is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with patient health information and/or medical records is desirable.
• At least six (6) months of supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and legal aspects of health information is essential.
• Understanding of EMRs (electronic medical records) is necessary.
• Strong supervisory and management capabilities are required.
• Excellent customer service skills are needed.
• Proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Competence in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software is required.
• Strong time management, critical thinking, organizational, and mathematical skills are needed.
• Ability to manage and resolve escalated calls and correspondence effectively.
• Capacity to understand, analyze, interpret, and clarify complex documents.
• Ability to function effectively in a team setting while adhering to standards and quality guidelines.
• Knowledge of how to interpret and apply state and federal laws, regulations, and policies is necessary.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Ability to engage with diverse personalities in a professional, mature, and tactful manner is required.
