Supervising Psychiatrist – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee and mentor a team of 10-12 Advanced Practice Providers (licensed PMHNPs)

• Evaluate documentation and treatment plans for approximately 1 hour per week

• Advise APPs on compliant billing procedures

• Assist APPs in navigating clinical crises

• Offer second opinion consultations and treatment for more complex cases

• Prescribe medications in a responsible and ethical manner

• Conduct follow-up assessments and manage medication regimens

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance workflows

• Partner with therapists and care coordinators within a collaborative care framework

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist (MD or DO)

• Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, etc.)

• Knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice agreements and supervision regulations in priority states

• Must possess an active, unrestricted federal DEA registration

• Willingness and eligibility to obtain separate DEA registrations in all states required for multi-state practice

• Preferred: additional state licensure or readiness to obtain extra state licenses

• Preferred: familiarity with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery
