Supervising Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a supervising physician for a minimum of 5 SteadyMD Nurse Practitioners, conducting quarterly chart reviews and holding virtual meetings with assigned NPs as necessary.

• Perform synchronous video and phone evaluations, both scheduled and on-demand, as well as asynchronous communication with patients.

• Provide urgent care treatment for various conditions, including minor injuries, respiratory infections, skin conditions, gastrointestinal issues, allergies, and more.

• Collaborate with a diverse patient population; our organization prioritizes inclusivity and evidence-based care for everyone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active MD or DO license in good standing across 5 states, including California and at least 3 of the following: Pennsylvania, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi, South Carolina, or Tennessee.

• Board certified and possess a valid DEA certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of independent practice following postgraduate training.

• Capability to act as a supervising physician for at least 5 Nurse Practitioners.

• Proficient with technology, demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills.

• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is highly preferred.

• Must have a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
