Superintendent, Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Oversee commercial construction projects in the South Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon.

• Supervise field construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Assist project management in developing work plans and CPM schedules.

• Generate and revise short-interval look-ahead schedules on a weekly basis.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contract documents.

• Create and uphold timely project document flow in partnership with the Project Manager.

• Utilize Procore and Microsoft Project software for effective documentation.

• Deliver precise and detailed cost control information.

• Coordinate logistics programs in conjunction with the Project Manager.

• Lead weekly coordination and safety meetings with subcontractors.

• Enforce the company's safety and health protocols.

• Ensure compliance with project scope and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in commercial construction supervision.

• Excellent skills in reading and interpreting plans.

• Familiarity with basic building codes.

• Extensive knowledge of building and/or industrial construction methods.

• Proficient layout skills, including the use of common automatic levels and transits.

• Understanding of commercial safety standards.

• Ability to apply fundamental mathematical concepts from algebra and geometry.

• Proficiency with standard industry software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• CPR/AED certification (to be obtained within six months of hire).

• 30-hour OSHA training (to be completed within six months of hire).

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
