This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Oversee and coordinate activities related to development and new construction projects by reviewing blueprints and specifications, inspecting work, managing contractors, resolving issues, and ensuring completion within budget and on schedule.
• Track and manage project budgets by reviewing, reconciling, and approving invoices from vendors and contractors, analyzing financial statements and expenditures, and reporting on financial resource needs and concerns.
• Create, implement, and manage project timelines and completion schedules.
• Prioritize tasks and tackle both anticipated and unforeseen delays resulting from weather conditions or modifications to specifications and plans.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, contractors, and workforce.
• Inspect finished work for compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Adjust staffing levels as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Provide regular updates on project progress to business leaders, equity partners, and other relevant contacts.
• Prepare routine reports and communications and address project information inquiries and concerns.
• Assist in assembling on-site construction teams, selecting and assigning team members, engaging contractors and subcontractors, and managing their performance.
• Complete various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analyses.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or needed.
• At least 5 years of experience on similar ground-up construction projects, from initial construction through final delivery.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a team and subcontractors.
• Strong skills in time management, leadership, and decision-making.
• Highly organized in both daily operations and long-term planning and execution.
• Ability to effectively track and maintain complex schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to delegate effectively and negotiate.
• Proven history of building and sustaining strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and owners.
