This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.
β’ Oversee the development and qualification processes for substrate suppliers focusing on high density FCBGA, EMIB-T, and glass core substrate technologies.
β’ Facilitate technical enablement and oversee supplier readiness milestones.
β’ Work in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and supplier partners.
β’ Engage with suppliers and internal engineering teams to establish fundamental processes involving component embedding, core fabrication, laser drilling, dielectric lamination, lithography, electrolytic multi-metal plating, defect inspection/metrology, electrical testing, and other substrate technologies.
β’ Collaborate with on-site supplier engineering teams and the APTD Substrate Integration team to promote substrate building block technologies and manage critical process interactions.
β’ Ensure that suppliers adhere to commitments outlined in the Product Control System.
β’ Design and execute factory technology validation and product certification plans aimed at improving yield.
β’ Create and sustain micro schedules for new factory startup activities and essential milestones.
β’ Lead qualification initiatives and track ramp indicators to facilitate an incident-free production ramp and the introduction of new capacity.
β’ Participate in periodic supplier meetings in East Asia and stakeholder meetings in the US.
β’ Maintain a consistent presence at supplier locations to support program goals.
β’ Bachelor's degree with over 6 years of experience, Master's degree with more than 4 years, or PhD with at least 2 years in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
β’ Proficient English communication skills are essential.
β’ Familiarity with statistical tools and methods, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) for yield enhancement.
β’ Proven experience in managing complex projects and achieving results within high-volume manufacturing settings.
β’ Knowledge or experience in advanced packaging, substrates, or semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated leadership experience in supplier management or technology enablement.
β’ Capability to drive alignment and execution across global teams.
β’ Ability to excel in high-ambiguity environments and deliver results under pressure.
β’ Understanding of advanced packaging technologies and substrate/assembly manufacturing processes.
β’ Experience with process flow development, FMEA, DOE design, and problem-solving methodologies.
β’ Must reside and work in Vietnam; remote work from other countries is not allowed.
β’ Fully home-based work model.
β’ Occasional attendance at Intel sites based on business requirements.
