Substation Protection & Control Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Creation and development of Protection and Control Drawings

• Substation Relay One Line and Three Line diagrams

• AC/DC Schematics

• Layouts for Substation Panels

• Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules for Substations

• SCADA and Communication Diagrams

• Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams

• Collaboration with physical, settings, and drafting teams

• Analyze and integrate vendor information into design outputs

• Execute and uphold the company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures

• Ongoing enhancement of engineering, technical, and professional knowledge related to the job

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or High School Diploma

• Background in substation (transmission) design

• Over 3 years of detailed wiring design experience, including the development of single lines, schematics, and relay panels

• More than 3 years of proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Inventor, and MicroStation
