This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical authority for New Product Introductions and design modifications.
• Direct architectural frameworks, engineering choices, and implementation methodologies.
• Ensure that product performance, compliance, and dependability align with industry and regulatory benchmarks.
• Evaluate and articulate engineering trade-offs among various products.
• Propose solutions that enhance safety, functional performance, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and time-to-market efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineering experts to assess system requirements and sanction and document system designs.
• Ensure that the documentation of technical data related to product quality and safety adheres to risk management and design control protocols.
• Oversee validation and verification processes, including comprehensive system-level testing.
• Facilitate formal design reviews and deliver impartial technical evaluations and risk assessments as necessary.
• Track and convey project progress, business requirements, and major alterations.
• Cultivate extensive understanding of software products, their functionalities, and components.
• Work with product teams to grasp business motivations and optimize system designs for end-users.
• Present or participate in technical and program reviews, oversight, and audits.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by pinpointing and prioritizing process and product quality deficiencies and offering solutions.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management or software design is acceptable.
• Exceptional organizational, documentation, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs is necessary.
• Experience in project management is preferred.
• Background in the software industry is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates experienced in GE HealthCare Lead System Designer processes.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
