Substation Protection & Control Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Creation and development of Protection and Control Drawings

• Substation Relay One Lines and Three Lines AC/DC Schematics

• Layouts for Substation Panels

• Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules for substations

• Diagrams for SCADA and Communication

• Point to Point Wiring Diagrams

• Collaboration with physical, settings, and drafting teams

• Analyze and integrate vendor information into design outputs

• Adhere to client standards relevant to the work

• Execute and verify the company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma

• Background in substation (transmission) design

• Over 3 years of intricate wiring design experience, including the development of single lines, schematics, and relay panels

• More than 3 years of proficiency with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Inventor, and MicroStation
