Pipeline Design Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in drafting and design tasks.

• Propose improvements to production processes, equipment performance, product quality, working conditions, process flow, and equipment utilization.

• Assess project staff-hour requirements and assist in ensuring projects are completed on time.

• Analyze production schedules and establish or adjust work procedures to align with schedules, leveraging knowledge of CAD machines and software capabilities.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to align departmental activities with corporate objectives.

• Initiate or recommend strategies to motivate staff in achieving work objectives.

• Suggest or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and disciplinary actions.

• Conduct interviews for potential new hires and train newly recruited employees.

• Maintain records of time and production.

• Estimate revenue and costs for current and forthcoming projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in the pipeline industry.

• 0 to 5 years of experience in managing designers/drafters, handling HR issues, budgets, and resource utilization.

• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with alignment sheets and HDD.

• Experience with survey data.

• Excellent communication skills.
