Substation Assistant Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Supervise all stages of electrical substation projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Oversee project design, timelines, financials, resources, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are fulfilled.

• Perform site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.

• Provide project updates, identify risks, and propose solutions to senior management and clients.

• Manage the procurement process for materials and equipment needed for substation construction.

• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Address technical and logistical issues that may arise during the project execution.

• Document and report on project progress, including financial tracking and closure procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in electrical substation projects.

• Proven knowledge of electrical systems, substation components, and construction methodologies.

• Familiarity with industry standards such as NESC, NEC, IEEE, and ANSI.

• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without needing visa transfer or sponsorship, now or in the future.
