This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate both new and existing accounts while initiating recovery efforts through both verbal and written communication.

• Negotiate and obtain recovery from at-fault carriers, individuals, and customer carriers.

• Process uninsured motorist claims and assess them for potential legal or collections referral.

• Identify adverse parties and assess their financial capability.

• Determine the appropriate next steps, including arbitration, legal action, collections, or case closure.

• Maintain communication with customer contacts and drivers.

• Engage in customer meetings and offer strategic guidance.

• Manage liability disputes in collaboration with customer carriers.

• Negotiate, settle, and resolve auto property damage claims with opposing parties.

• Ensure timely and accurate recovery results while supporting liability decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry or 4 years of experience in Subrogation claims or negotiations is required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess the ability to show empathy, maintain consideration for customers' public image, demonstrate industry knowledge, and exhibit strong negotiation skills.

• Capable of managing challenging conversations and demonstrating conflict resolution abilities.

• Strong time management capabilities are essential.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Comprehensive understanding of subrogation processes, regulations, and statutes is required.

• Must stay informed about US and Canadian claims processes as well as repair and estimating procedures.

• A background check will be conducted following a conditional offer.

• Knowledge of estimating or I-Car training is preferred.

• Experience with Canadian claims is advantageous.

• Certification as a Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) is a plus.
