Subrogation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and analysis of routine health claims that may be associated with Third Party Liability, Workers' Compensation, and other subrogation or reimbursement recovery matters.

• Assess and review accident or incident reports, individual claims, medical and legal documentation, along with other materials related to subrogation.

• Address inquiries concerning issues related to claim recovery.

• Identify, track, and analyze claim data to ascertain relatedness and determine reimbursement amounts.

• Analyze, interpret, and apply relevant plan language, contracts, case law, statutes, and regulations.

• Organize and maintain case files, correspondence, legal documents, and other pertinent subrogation information.

• Coordinate actions related to the accounting of payments received.

• Assess and negotiate subrogation claim settlements within established authority limits.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Third Party Liability or Workers' Compensation subrogation, or a related field.

• Any combination of education and/or experience that provides an equivalent background.

• A BA/BS degree is preferred.

• A Legal Assistant certificate is preferred.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance from a designated office unless an accommodation is provided.
