Hardware and Software Acquisition Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Acquire hardware and/or software licenses for internal clients by collaborating with external vendors and utilizing existing toolsets.

• Input asset and software license information into a designated system while ensuring data integrity and adherence to processes.

• Monitor received data and source documentation.

• Address inquiries, discrepancies, and missing information with those who prepare source documents.

• Conduct data analysis and research to support hardware/software licensing, procurement, inventory management, and process enhancements.

• Implement software classification protocols for newly installed client software.

• Oversee software license reporting, which includes new classification as well as continuous review and reclassification of existing applications.

• Aid in the budget, hardware inventory, and software license inventory reporting and information management.

• Maintain hardware and software license records in the tracking system for inventory, renewals, and acquisitions.

• Assist in developing reports and enhancing processes for management information accessibility.

• Engage with end-users, management, team members, peers, and vendors.

• Respond to inquiries regarding hardware and software license information.

• Handle multiple responsibilities and adhere to deadlines.

• Oversee the Service Level Agreement (SLA) process in designated areas.

• Proficient in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Capability and motivation to work effectively in a team setting.

• Personal drive to excel in the position.

• Experience in IS/IT asset management.

• Skills in software procurement.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel and Access.

• Conceptual understanding of Information Services/Technology.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow is beneficial.

• Problem-solving skills and collaborative team engagement.

• Ability to propose ideas and processes that enhance team performance and productivity.
