Subject Matter Expert – Finance, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Establish the primary research and analysis workflows in your field (e.g., M&A deal assessments, company valuation, or portfolio development).

• Develop test cases and evaluation metrics to gauge the AI's performance in executing these workflows.

• Evaluate the model’s proficiency in managing financial tasks such as statement analysis, data extraction, market trend detection, and risk evaluation.

• Identify and select high-quality financial datasets for training and refining AI models.

• Offer insights on model outputs and propose enhancements to improve accuracy and applicability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the German language at an advanced level.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in the following domains:

• - Investment Banking (M&A, capital markets, corporate finance)

• - Private Equity (deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management)

• - Asset Management (portfolio management, investment strategy, quantitative analysis)

• - Equity Research (company analysis, financial modeling, report writing)

• A foundational understanding of AI and machine learning, or experience collaborating with technical teams, is highly advantageous.

• Advanced proficiency in financial software such as Bloomberg and Prophix, complemented by strong data analytics skills for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

• Exceptional analytical abilities to deconstruct complex financial processes into quantifiable steps.

• Outstanding communication skills to articulate financial concepts to non-specialists.

• Keen attention to detail and precision.
