Subject Matter Expert – Computer Systems Engineer, Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the organization's vulnerability management program.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.

• Collaborate closely with IT, security, and development teams to uphold a strong security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Proactively pinpoint and address security gaps.

• Implement best practices in security.

• Effectively communicate security risks to stakeholders.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of vulnerability management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

• Develop proof of concept for vulnerability exploitation.

• Correlate vulnerabilities with real-world threats.

• Integrate SIEM tools with vulnerability management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related information security position.

• Advanced skills in vulnerability exploitation and proof of concept (PoC) development.

• Familiarity with exploit frameworks such as Metasploit.

• Experience with cloud security tools and platforms, including AWS Inspector, Azure Security Center, or GCP Security Command Center.

• Expertise in identifying and mitigating critical vulnerabilities within complex environments.

• Experience with configuration assessment tools like SCAP or CIS-CAT.

• Knowledge of threat intelligence tools and processes to correlate vulnerabilities with real-world threats.

• Understanding of threat modeling and attack surface analysis.

• Experience with SIEM tools, such as Splunk or QRadar, and their integration with vulnerability management processes.

• Knowledge of log analysis and event correlation.

• Advanced certifications such as GCVA, OSCP, CISSP, or CISM are required.
