Stylist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee on-site installation, styling, and final arrangements for various residential projects (model homes, rental units, amenity spaces, etc.)

• Style furniture, textiles, artwork, décor, and accessories to ensure each area meets the approved design vision and brand guidelines.

• Guide installation teams regarding placement, adjustments, and the order of styling operations.

• Make on-site design choices when plans require modifications (e.g., ceiling height discrepancies, unforeseen architectural alterations).

• Conduct client walkthroughs to showcase completed areas and gather feedback.

• Create and present final project reports detailing completion status, deficiencies, follow-up items, and suggested next steps.

• Evaluate all styled areas for accuracy, quality of craftsmanship, and overall completeness.

• Identify deficiencies, missing items, damaged components, and any issues affecting project completion.

• Formulate contingency plans when inventory or site conditions diverge from expectations.

• Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to monitor and resolve outstanding items.

• Work closely with the Design Production team to thoroughly understand all design plans, specifications, and stylistic objectives prior to installation.

• Partner with Install Leads and Drivers to ensure a seamless and efficient installation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in interior styling, residential design, visual merchandising, or model home staging.

• Strong sense of design, composition, proportion, and visual storytelling.

• Ability to make prompt, informed decisions on-site to uphold design integrity.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.

• Comfortable directing installation teams and thriving in fast-paced environments.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to adapt to changing site conditions.

• Proficient in interpreting design plans, elevations, and furniture layouts.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as necessary.
