This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering and technical studies for mining and mineral processing initiatives.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the study lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective coordination of engineering, process, metallurgical, infrastructure, environmental, and commercial inputs.
• Create study scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to guarantee successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate technical workshops, conduct project reviews, and deliver client presentations.
• Steer projects through essential stage-gate decisions, confirming that study results align with client investment and development goals.
• Supervise the preparation and evaluation of technical reports, economic assessments, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure studies comply with industry standards, regulatory mandates, and client expectations.
• Identify project risks and opportunities, developing strategies for mitigation throughout the study process.
• Collaborate with business development and technical teams to aid in proposals, client interactions, and future project prospects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in mining, mineral processing, engineering consulting, or related industrial domains.
• Proven experience in managing engineering studies from inception to final delivery.
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing operations, project development, and study methodologies.
• Experience in leading Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEA), Preliminary Feasibility Studies (PFS), Feasibility Studies (FS), and/or NI 43-101 technical studies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and facilitate discussions with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders.
• Outstanding project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Capability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and handle competing priorities in a dynamic project setting.
• Direct experience in mineral processing plant design, process engineering, or metallurgical operations is preferred.
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility is preferred.
