This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and assess clinical research data for accuracy, completeness, plausibility, and consistency.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards.
• Identify and promptly address any data discrepancies or issues.
• Validate the accuracy of all rules within the data capture system by inputting test data.
• Liaise with study sites and data managers to resolve data quality issues.
• Evaluate data management plans.
• Assist in creating and implementing data quality assurance procedures.
• Aid in the preparation of reports and presentations regarding data monitoring activities for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate resource planning and all monitoring activities in collaboration with the head of project management.
• Manage site administration tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams, including but not limited to project management, data management, data operations, medical advisors, and pharmacovigilance.
• Help train monitors in conjunction with PM, DM, and Medical Advisors.
• Assist in the setup and testing of electronic questionnaires and documentation forms.
• Contribute to pharmacovigilance-related activities.
• Manage participants in medical data collection surveys.
• Support adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and compliance regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in process optimization and updating of SOPs and work instructions.
• Completed training in the healthcare field; additional certification as a monitor or similar is preferred.
• Experience in clinical research, data management, or a related area.
• Strong attention to detail along with excellent analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with electronic data capture systems.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with exceptional communication skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
