This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create an annual personal growth plan while actively engaging in church and community life.

• Participate in the spiritual activities of the Young Life community.

• Guide teams and individuals in their spiritual growth.

• Hold regular meetings with volunteer leaders and area management.

• Recruit, train, and establish a leadership team.

• Exemplify excellence in contact work, club activities, Campaigners, and camping experiences.

• Secure financial support and uphold donor-care practices.

• Provide ministry updates to donor partners.

• Support camp fundraising efforts and attend designated committee and adult events.

• Engage in all three tiers of contact work.

• Take part in Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry.

• Assist in executing strategies for summer and school-season camping.

• May have the opportunity to work on summer staff or be assigned to a Young Life property.

• Follow established policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Establish and review annual ministry and personal objectives.

• Assist with administrative tasks and complete expense reports.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, aligning with skills, experience, and area requirements.

• Complete training assignments for regional and area levels under the guidance of an area director or mentor.

• Currently pursuing a college degree.

• Strong relational abilities with both children and adults.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Must profess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Savior.

• Must adhere to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff policies.

• Must be prepared, willing, and capable of fulfilling necessary ministry duties.

• Must avoid behaviors and comments that undermine Young Life’s biblical standards.

• Must comply with all Young Life policies and practices.
