Student Financial Systems Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Configure, develop, and provide support for Workday functionality and integrations concerning Student Financials, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and associated student financial processes.

• Design and create Workday integrations utilizing Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, SOAP/REST, and related technologies.

• Configure, support, and enhance Workday functionalities, business processes, and relevant rules.

• Maintain and support existing Student Financial integrations, which includes resolving errors and conducting release testing.

• Collaborate with University stakeholders and Information Technology teams to translate functional requirements into Workday configurations, business processes, and technical solutions.

• Utilize database technologies, such as SQL, for integration development, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to Workday configuration, business processes, and integrations.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

• Implement information security practices to safeguard University data.

• Communicate with management, team members, and stakeholders regarding issues, changes, and integration support requirements.

• Investigate Workday functionalities, updates, and emerging technologies.

• Execute other assigned duties as necessary.

• Report directly to the Manager of Enterprise Applications and Development.

• Occasionally travel to the main campus in Williamsburg, Kentucky, as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a computing discipline or a demonstrated equivalent experience as an integration developer.

• Proficiency in Workday configuration, business processes, and integrations, including Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and Core Connectors.

• Experience in supporting Workday Student, Student Financials, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, or similar higher education systems.

• Proven experience in developing API-based integrations and solutions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering, enterprise application configuration, integration architecture, and the software development life cycle.

• Understanding of information security principles and secure data exchange practices.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Workday Pro certification in Integrations, Student, Financial Aid, or another relevant area is preferred.

• Familiarity with Title IV federal financial aid regulations and Department of Education reporting requirements (e.g., FISAP, NSLDS, COD) is preferred.
