Student Enrollment Onboarding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Onboard new students in Edmentum and coordinate their schedules with teachers and courses.

• Review transcripts and develop Educational Development Plans (EDPs).

• Oversee the Admissions & Denial Process with empathetic and clear communication.

• Assign diagnostics, fulfill record requests, and assist in SIS data management.

• Handle withdrawals and ensure precise Gooru rostering.

• Produce report cards, progress reports, and track course completions.

• Maintain the Potential Graduate List and manage the graduation process.

• Prepare State Testing Letters, Enrollment Letters, and necessary legal documents.

• Process work permits and aid in audit and compliance reporting.

• Engage with families regarding scholarship opportunities across various states, monitor deadlines, coordinate payments, and assist families with applications.

• Participate in quarterly all-staff meetings, weekly team meetings, and professional development sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of FERPA regulations.

• Experience in documenting communication with students and parents.

• Strong organizational abilities with a talent for managing multiple student timelines.

• Proficient in using virtual tools such as Zoom and Bamboo.

• Familiarity with Edmentum, Genius SIS, or Gooru is advantageous.

• Preference for those knowledgeable about state compliance requirements for AZ, TN, or IN.

• Background in virtual school enrollment, educational administration, or student services.

• A proactive and team-oriented approach.

• Stable internet connection and a professional home office setup.

• Must pass a background check and fingerprinting as a condition of employment.

• Background checks will be conducted across multiple states.
