This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
β’ Responsible for planning, laying out, positioning, aligning, and assembling fabricated parts of structural metal products.
β’ Welds, tacks, and assembles metal components of products such as modules, structural steel, pipe racks, and plate welding using electric arc-welding equipment by executing the following tasks.
β’ Works at elevated heights while secured, involved in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures utilized during construction.
β’ Provides spotting for equipment, rigging, and signaling as required.
β’ High school diploma or GED equivalent, or ten (10) years of experience as a Structural Welder/Fitter will be accepted.
β’ At least two (2) years of experience as a Structural Welder/Fitter.
β’ Must be capable of passing a structural welding test in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
β’ Familiarity with industrial construction and the characteristics of all equipment and functions related to the role.
β’ Must provide basic hand tools at the job site. A list of required tools will be provided by NANA Construction at the time of hire as the job requires.
β’ A valid driverβs license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years are preferred to qualify under the vehicle insurance policy.
