This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of structural engineers.

• Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines and engage directly with clients.

• Mentor and guide structural engineering teams on projects related to new nuclear facilities and the upgrades/modifications of nuclear power plants.

• Utilize expertise in materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.

• Contribute as a part of an engineering and design team on assignments for diverse clients.

• Prepare, review, and offer guidance on design calculations.

• Create specifications and collaborate with designers on developing drawings.

• Prepare, review, or oversee the structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations.

• May require travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to construction sites for coordination and verification of designs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

• A minimum of ten years of experience working as part of a project team in the design and analysis of industrial/heavy commercial or nuclear facility structures.

• Proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.

• Familiarity with design codes and standards, including ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Possession of a PE or SE license.
