This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Provide support for EPC operations-related engineering issues and offer guidance on best practices from the beginning of construction through the SOLV warranty period.
• Enhance communication between operations and engineering teams.
• Act as the primary operations contact for engineering issues and relay design methodologies and engineered solutions.
• Assist with engineering-related construction RFIs during the project execution phase.
• Address RFIs and other operational concerns with urgency.
• Grasp project-specific design, client/contract, and permitting requirements.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with site personnel, including Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Management.
• Ensure operations support and adherence to the SOLV EPC Contract.
• Oversee the implementation of autonomous pile-driving systems to achieve savings in materials, labor, and scheduling.
• Provide assistance to operations with engineering-intensive clients and independent engineers.
• Guide project teams in addressing consultant design feedback.
• Collaborate with the warranty team to assess accountability for manufacturer failures, design issues, and installation mistakes.
• Design and conduct training sessions on GPS-enabled pile drivers, related software, and proprietary tools.
• Facilitate continuous construction oversight using drone technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction or a related area, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and organizational capabilities.
• Skilled in problem-solving with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with CAD/GIS software and a capacity to gain proficiency in these and other engineering applications.
• Capability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Field experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work in both office and field environments while managing daily responsibilities during site visits.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
