Structural Engineer – Mid-Senior Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate job drawings and offer clear design guidance to engineers and designers.

• Assess and verify structural designs for precision, efficiency, and compliance with codes.

• Certify structural drawings as necessary.

• Direct design teams in minimizing structural weight while ensuring safety and performance.

• Directly intervene with design solutions to maintain project budgets.

• Develop field fixes and provide engineering solutions as challenges arise.

• Support the development and upkeep of engineering standards and procedures.

• Occasionally design complete projects or segments of projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mandatory).

• Valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (mandatory).

• At least 5 years of experience in structural design within the Metal Building or PEMB sector.

• Strong practical experience in designing metal building systems.

• Capability to juggle multiple responsibilities and adhere to deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent technical judgment, along with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
