Stroke Data Abstractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality solutions to hospital partners.

• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information.

• Ensure accurate submission of all data within designated registries.

• Effectively prioritize and organize tasks along with team requests.

• Navigate new technical systems and resolve issues as they arise.

• Contribute to the development of team best practices and process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of direct abstraction experience within the Get With the Guidelines Stroke registry.

• Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.

• Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, One Note, and SharePoint).

• Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.

• High standards for precision and meticulous attention to detail.

• Technically inclined with a strong eagerness to learn new systems and technologies.

• Comfortable working autonomously and taking responsibility for projects/patient records.

• Excellent self-organization and time management capabilities.
