This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver data-driven strategic guidance to pinpoint and tackle business opportunities that enhance care for Medicare and Special Needs Population members who utilize Care Management services.
• Identify and implement innovations that boost the effectiveness, efficiency, or member experience of care management services.
• Address a variety of complex issues with input from clinical, quality, operations, analytics, and other enterprise stakeholders.
• Transform strategic recommendations into actionable plans with operational leaders.
• Examine intricate care management challenges using both internal and external data and insights.
• Engage in strategic problem-solving and the development of strategies in ambiguous contexts.
• Discover opportunities in clinical outcomes, quality, costs, and member experiences.
• Lead cross-functional teams to establish significant and feasible opportunities.
• Develop execution models and roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional enterprise partners.
• Propel prioritized opportunities through the implementation process.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Over 7 years of experience in strategy, healthcare, or operations, or more than 4 years with a consulting firm or in corporate strategy focused on driving and creating strategy and/or operations experience.
• Prior experience in strategy consulting, commercial strategy, business strategy, clinical and operational fields, and/or similar roles.
• Capability to interpret and use data and analytics to enhance strategy and formulate recommendations.
• Proficiency in conducting data analysis and modeling to derive insights and recommendations.
• Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively in both written and oral formats, adapting to various audiences including senior leadership.
• Proven ability to influence and lead through uncertain situations.
• Strong skills in organization, planning, and prioritization.
• Capacity to collaborate with various enterprise departments and stakeholders while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage projects to meet objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Home internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
