This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, compose, coordinate, research, and submit grant proposals and funding applications, which include Service Area Competitions (SACs), supplemental funding requests, Look-Alike (LAL) renewals, Budget Period Renewals (BPRs), and annual certifications for federal, state, and local entities, as well as foundations and other philanthropic organizations.
• Assist in the development and execution of market analyses and Community Needs Assessments (CNAs), involving data collection and mapping utilizing tools such as MySidewalk.
• Aid in health center workforce planning initiatives, staffing strategies, and associated consulting projects.
• Support research, data synthesis, facilitation preparation, and material creation for client strategic planning projects.
• Contribute to compliance-related initiatives (e.g., HRSA/BPHC compliance, operational site visit preparation), credentialing and privileging efforts, and payer enrollment processes.
• Formulate program plans that encompass statements of need, implementation strategies, evaluation strategies, and resource and budget development.
• Act as a primary coordinator and content creator across assigned S&G projects, ensuring consistency in content, formatting, and overall quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout the firm to discuss and compile information pertinent to proposals, assessments, and client deliverables, enhancing productivity and nurturing relationships with leaders across the organization.
• Establish and maintain a master repository of content, including pending, active, and past grants, contracts, and projects for the division.
• Create and deliver clear, polished reports, proposals, and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Identify opportunities for senior leaders to recognize upselling and cross-selling possibilities; assist in proposal development and pipeline enhancement as necessary.
• Exemplify and uphold the firm's core values in all interactions, ensuring professionalism, integrity, and collaboration with both clients and colleagues.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare consulting, grant writing/development, nonprofit program management, or a related area is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field and/or a Master's degree (MPH, MHA, MPA, or MBA) is preferred.
• Proven success in identifying, writing, developing, editing, and submitting grant applications; experience with HRSA/BPHC funding is advantageous.
• Preferred familiarity with the healthcare sector, including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and community health centers.
• Strong research, analytical, and data synthesis capabilities; experience with data or mapping tools (e.g., MySidewalk) is a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Collaborative and team-oriented; adept at partnering with subject matter experts across different divisions.
• Keen attention to detail, particularly in writing, analysis, and compliance matters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
