This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Lead the execution of high-quality research to guide organizational strategy both within and outside of Meliore.
• Oversee and cultivate a proactive audience research program, particularly polling, that is of strategic importance to the progressive campaigning ecosystem, donors, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate the communication of research findings to relevant parties.
• Disseminate proactive and reactive audience research through webinars, presentations, and training sessions.
• Assist teams across the Meliore network in converting quantitative and qualitative research into actionable strategies for communications.
• Encourage the effective application of audience insights across the organization among senior stakeholders.
• Share insights, recognize trends, and enhance colleagues’ understanding of public opinion and audience behavior.
• Report directly to the Audience Insight Director.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned periodically.
• Extensive experience in audience research, especially in polling, including segmentation, message testing, and survey design.
• Proven track record of proactively developing research that impacts opinion leaders and communications professionals.
• Strong ability to convey research findings clearly to audiences without a specialized background.
• Experience conveying research to individuals for whom English is a second language is advantageous but not required.
• Some background in translating audience research insights into actionable campaign strategy advice.
• Comfortable working remotely and across various time zones.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Experience with polling in election campaigns is a plus.
• Background in communications or campaign strategies is beneficial.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
