This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
β’ Design, construct, and sustain the data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide the commercial organization with clear, reliable visibility across the entire commercial funnel.
β’ Integrate AI tools as a fundamental aspect of your analytical workflow β enhancing insight generation, elevating output quality, and creating capacity for more advanced problem-solving.
β’ Conduct in-depth analytical projects to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within commercial data, translating results into clear and actionable recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
β’ Establish and monitor KPIs that assess both business outcomes and the effectiveness of the processes that drive them, fostering a continuous improvement feedback loop.
β’ Take ownership of the preparation and follow-up for key internal meetings, strategic reviews, and cross-functional forums β ensuring that the appropriate data is presented and that decisions lead to clear next steps.
β’ Develop the analytical frameworks that support quarterly planning, forecasting, and target-setting, generating outputs that commercial leaders can utilize directly.
β’ Analyze, challenge, and transform core commercial workflows β including pipeline management, forecasting schedules, and sales incentive structures β into more streamlined, efficient, and scalable methods of operation.
β’ Implement comprehensive operational improvements: not just designing solutions, but also driving their adoption and rigorously measuring their impact.
β’ Identify opportunities where AI can fundamentally transform commercial processes, then build and deploy those solutions directly.
β’ Gain a hands-on understanding of our commercial tech stack, diagnosing areas where friction, data loss, or missed opportunities may occur.
β’ Convert commercial challenges into well-defined briefs for Product and Engineering teams, possessing enough technical fluency to engage as a genuine peer in those discussions.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, strategy & operations, or a comparable analytical or commercial role.
β’ Proficient in SQL with practical experience using BI and data tools such as Looker, Tableau, or BigQuery.
β’ Proven history of building assets β data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools β rather than merely recommending them.
β’ Strong commercial instincts combined with robust analytical skills, comfortable transitioning between strategic discussions and hands-on implementation.
β’ Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a consistent practice of utilizing it to enhance and expedite their own work, with a desire to incorporate that into commercial operations.
β’ Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and/or Engineering teams, possessing sufficient technical fluency to contribute effectively in those dialogues.
β’ First-principles thinking β challenging assumptions, stress-testing processes, and persistently asking why things function as they do.
