Educational Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with leaders in school districts and educators to identify their data analytics requirements while educating various stakeholders on effectively using dashboards for data interpretation.

• Design and create tailored metrics and dashboards.

• Employ SQL for managing databases and executing queries, ensuring the provision of precise and accessible data solutions.

• Offer continuous support and maintenance for data dashboards by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to the platform and data quality, thereby ensuring dependable reporting and effective data modeling.

• Work collaboratively with data scientists, engineers, and Product teams to enhance the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in handling educational data and familiarity with K-12 educational systems.

• Proven experience with data visualization tools and dashboard design.

• Capability to convert complex data into understandable and actionable insights.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Experience working autonomously on projects.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• A passion for education and enhancing educational outcomes.

• Over 4 years of experience in a data analyst, data engineer, or similar capacity.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.

• Nice to Have: Experience with K12 Student Information Systems such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries.
