This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, construct, and uphold the data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that provide the commercial organization with clear and reliable visibility throughout the entire commercial funnel.
• Integrate AI tools as a fundamental component of your analytical workflow—enhancing insight generation, improving output quality, and allowing for higher-order problem-solving capabilities.
• Conduct in-depth analytical projects to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in commercial data, translating insights into clear and actionable recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs that assess both business outcomes and the effectiveness of the processes that drive them, fostering a continuous improvement feedback loop.
• Take ownership of preparation and follow-through for key internal meetings, strategic reviews, and cross-functional forums—ensuring relevant data is present and decisions lead to clear next steps.
• Develop the analytical frameworks that support quarterly planning, forecasting, and target-setting, generating outputs that commercial leaders can directly utilize.
• Analyze, challenge, and refine core commercial workflows—including pipeline management, forecasting cadences, and sales incentive structures—into more efficient, faster, and scalable operational methods.
• Drive end-to-end operational improvements: not only designing the solution but also fostering adoption and rigorously measuring impact.
• Recognize opportunities where AI can fundamentally transform commercial processes and directly build and deploy those solutions.
• Gain a practical understanding of our commercial tech stack, identifying areas of friction, data loss, or missed opportunities.
• Convert commercial challenges into well-defined briefs for Product and Engineering teams to act upon, demonstrating enough technical fluency to engage as a true peer in those discussions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, strategy & operations, or a comparable analytical or commercial role.
• Proficiency in SQL along with hands-on experience using BI and data tools such as Looker, Tableau, or BigQuery.
• A proven history of creating tangible outputs—data models, dashboards, process frameworks, and operational tools—rather than just proposing them.
• Strong commercial instincts combined with rigorous analytical skills, comfortable transitioning between strategic discussions and hands-on implementations.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI and a consistent practice of utilizing it to enhance and expedite work processes, with a desire to integrate this approach into commercial organizational operations.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product and/or Engineering teams, possessing enough technical knowledge to confidently engage in discussions.
• First-principles thinking—challenging assumptions, stress-testing processes, and perpetually questioning why things function as they do.
• A proactive approach, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
