This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of designated Professional Services and IT expenditure categories (e.g., Consulting, SaaS, Cloud/Infrastructure, End-User Devices, Managed Services);
β’ Manage the complete RFI/RFP/RFQ processes (including requirements gathering, scoring, supplier Q&A, demonstrations, and commercial analysis) and select vendors;
β’ Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms (including pricing, rate cards, milestones, SLAs, service credits, EULA terms, data privacy, security provisions, and renewals);
β’ Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, and Privacy teams to finalize MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, SLAs, ensuring compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA as applicable;
β’ Achieve measurable savings, cost avoidance, and improved TCO; validate and document benefits in partnership with Finance (including should-cost models, benchmarking, and clean-sheeting where applicable);
β’ Conduct vendor due diligence, maintain performance scorecards, QBRs, and corrective action plans; facilitate swift supplier onboarding;
β’ Streamline licenses, right-size entitlements, prevent shelf-ware; optimize contract terms, uplift caps, and renewal schedules;
β’ Convert business requirements into sourcing strategies; conduct decision-making meetings; offer clear market intelligence and trade-off options;
β’ Maintain sourcing pipelines, dashboards, and contract repositories; ensure data integrity for auditing and reporting purposes.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sourcing or Professional Services sourcing with a proven track record in category management;
β’ Demonstrated success in executing competitive events and negotiating intricate IT agreements (including SaaS, cloud/IaaS, software licenses, managed services, and hardware);
β’ Strong understanding of contract frameworks (MSA/SOW, SLAs/service credits, termination, indemnities, liability limitations, audits, data privacy/security, and IP);
β’ Comfortable conducting supplier risk and compliance evaluations in collaboration with Legal, InfoSec, and Privacy departments;
β’ Data-driven approach: proficient in pricing analysis, TCO calculations, scenario modeling, and tracking savings/benefits.
