Sourcing Manager – Intimates/Swim/Lounge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Identify and establish partnerships with vendors in Sri Lanka capable of producing high-quality Intimates, Lounge, and Swim apparel with quick production timelines.

• Efficiently pitch and onboard vendor partners, ensuring a clear understanding of the initial test period criteria and their potential to scale if successful.

• Enhance partner operations for existing supplier relationships within current Quince categories while expanding a diverse supplier base to improve product costs, quality, and commercial terms for sustainable sales and profitability.

• Oversee capacity management at both supplier and style levels to align with company growth and scaling needs.

• Material Sourcing: Rapidly identify materials that can enhance product cost, quality, and speed for scaling orders, with experience in negotiating across the supply chain from T1 to T2 & T3 mill/vendor partners.

• Open costing expertise: Possess strong experience in open costing breakdowns from both brand and manufacturer perspectives to develop a clear costing negotiation strategy; able to create a validated cost structure/template for negotiations without relying solely on vendor data.

• Serve as an ambassador in all interactions with partners, fostering and deepening relationships.

• Strive for higher launch success rates (reviews, returns, sales) through product excellence and faster development times by identifying bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions.

• Possess a clear strategic and commercial understanding of the sourcing landscape and trade advantages that can enhance product costs and expedite market entry for the USA, Canada, and Europe.

• Over 10 years of sourcing and merchandising experience in Intimates, Lounge, and Swim categories with high-end national brands in the United States and Europe.

• A consumer-focused and ambitious individual providing strategic leadership and serving as a role model in business, demonstrating self-assurance, pride, and passion that creates both personal and professional impact.

• Self-Motivated: Proven track record as a self-starter and quick learner who adapts swiftly to new challenges.
