This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives from gathering requirements to executing contracts, managing various projects across multiple spending categories concurrently.
• Perform comprehensive market research and supplier evaluations to identify qualified vendors and detect emerging market trends that influence sourcing strategies.
• Create and deliver business case analyses and persuasive sourcing strategies to senior management, clearly outlining value propositions and methods for risk mitigation.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms while fostering strong partnerships and maintaining high service quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to comprehend business needs, convert requirements into sourcing specifications, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee supplier performance using established KPIs and conduct regular business reviews, proactively addressing challenges and promoting continuous improvement efforts.
• Apply sourcing best practices and tools to enhance efficiency, compliance, and transparency throughout the sourcing process.
• Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities while balancing quality, service levels, and sustainability factors in vendor selection.
• Assist in the development of junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture that empowers everyone to succeed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within professional services or commercial real estate.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex sourcing projects and achieving measurable cost reductions and process enhancements.
• Strong negotiation capabilities with a proven ability to secure favorable contractual terms while nurturing collaborative supplier relationships.
• Expertise in sourcing technologies, procurement platforms, and data analysis tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in execution.
• Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) to support business operations in Montreal.
