Manager, Technology Vendor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify business needs and convert them into requirements for license acquisition.

• Coordinate activities with the procurement and contract teams.

• Develop a negotiation strategy and license matrix.

• Partner with product subject matter experts, procurement sourcing and contracts teams, finance, asset management, and renewal teams.

• Assist engineering teams in addressing technology and contract-related issues.

• Offer guidance and support to leadership, stakeholders, procurement, and contracts teams.

• Spot opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.

• Negotiate advantageous business terms and costs associated with third-party software.

• Maximize the usage of products and assets through effective management practices.

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Keep a thorough understanding of the IT industry landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Datacenter, Infrastructure, Network, and Cloud servers.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with third-party technologies and vendor support management.

• At least 2 years of experience in resolving complex business or technical challenges and proposing solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience).
