This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Namibia.
• Oversee and assist in procurement consulting projects from initial discovery to full implementation.
• Carry out spend analysis, procurement diagnostics, and benchmarking evaluations to uncover cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiencies.
• Create category and sourcing strategies, supplier management frameworks, and models for procurement governance.
• Conduct supplier market research and aid in the development of RFPs/RFIs, bid assessments, and contract negotiations.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to evaluate procurement processes and initiate improvement strategies.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and interviews to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Assist in the implementation of procurement technologies, including Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Jaggaer, Ivalua, and GEP.
• Prepare and present executive-level presentations, recommendations, and reports for both client and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants while actively participating in proposal development and initiatives to build the practice.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or consulting settings, with a focus on client delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement practices, technologies, and market trends.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Familiarity with sourcing and procurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, and Jaggaer is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of digital procurement solutions.
• Prior consulting experience is essential.
