This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies tailored to specific categories that align with business requirements and budget goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through market research, supplier consolidation, and enhancements in processes.
• Perform supplier assessments and manage competitive bidding activities, including the development and administration of RFx documents.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, and service level contracts to secure maximum value and minimize risks.
• Oversee supplier relationships during the entire contract lifecycle.
• Track supplier performance based on KPIs and address any performance shortfalls or service deficiencies.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and leaders from various business units to ensure procurement efforts align with organizational objectives.
• Maintain compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and relevant regulations while ensuring proper documentation and audit trails are kept.
• Analyze spending data to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Lead cross-functional teams in sourcing for complex initiatives.
• Create supplier scorecards and performance measurement metrics.
• Stay informed about market conditions, pricing trends, and industry best practices to guide sourcing strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Strong negotiation abilities with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract conditions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing strategic supplier relationships and executing competitive sourcing processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with expertise in spend analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficient in procurement systems, contract management software, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of contract law, risk management, and best practices in procurement.
• Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP are preferred.
• Experience with e-procurement platforms and sourcing tools is advantageous.
• Awareness of sustainability and responsible sourcing practices is appreciated.
• Experience in global or multi-regional sourcing contexts is valued.
• Familiarity with procurement in facilities management, real estate services, or corporate services is beneficial.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
