Strategic Sourcing Manager – Engineering & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with CIO leadership and technology teams to identify platform requirements, business objectives, and technology roadmaps.

• Formulate sourcing strategies for enterprise SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, data platforms, security technologies, and workplace systems.

• Oversee intricate sourcing events such as supplier discovery, RFP processes, negotiations, and contract finalization.

• Assess supplier proposals, pricing structures, and long-term cost frameworks.

• Work closely with Legal and Finance to design scalable commercial terms and risk mitigation strategies.

• Employ AI-driven tools and organized analysis to evaluate supplier proposals and derive negotiation insights.

• Create category strategies that enhance cost efficiency, foster supplier innovation, and ensure long-term platform scalability.

• Streamline sourcing processes and refine decision-making frameworks utilized by technology stakeholders.

• Forge robust partnerships with technology leaders to embed sourcing early in platform investment decisions.

• Assist in developing repeatable sourcing knowledge frameworks that enhance decision-making across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, consulting, vendor management, or technology strategy roles.

• Proven experience in sourcing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, IT services, or technology vendors.

• Strong expertise in negotiating with enterprise technology suppliers.

• Capability to convert business needs into structured sourcing strategies.

• Excellent analytical skills with a background in financial models, supplier evaluations, and contract frameworks.

• Familiarity with utilizing data, automation, or AI tools to facilitate decision-making.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities.
