This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Act as a subject matter expert and a point of escalation for all matters related to Contract Management.
• Identify and offer guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports to cultivate a high-performance team.
• Assume full responsibility for the recruitment, training, skills enhancement, mentoring, and supervision of the regional team, supporting their growth and development.
• Collaborate effectively across various domains, including but not limited to Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Customer Success, as well as with internal stakeholders from the Lifecycle team to successfully execute and improve existing integrations, processes, workflows, iterations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with Remote’s business objectives.
• Enhance and optimize the processes, workflows, and tools of the Lifecycle Contracts Management team, identifying automation opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Be capable of transitioning from “scout to scale” by initiating projects.
• Serve as both an internal and external advocate for Remote's values and the objectives of the Lifecycle team.
• Proven experience in HR Operations across various countries in the APAC region, with extensive knowledge of contract management and labor law.
• Demonstrated ability to scale or manage HR Operations across diverse APAC markets, possessing deep expertise in local labor compliance and contract management.
• Experience working in a dynamic, international, scale-up environment.
• Hands-on experience in people management, complemented by a coaching mindset.
• Technologically proficient, with experience using a range of digital tools.
• Driven by achieving goals, accustomed to working in a service-level environment focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Startup and remote work experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• While remote work experience is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.
• Capable of securely managing and maintaining employee data and confidential information, following established protocols and ensuring the highest level of professionalism and discretion in handling such information.
